Ingredients

1/4 tsp. almond extract

4oz. Bourbon Whiskey

2/3 Cup Brown Sugar

1 pint Heavy Cream

4 Cups Strong Brewed Coffee

1/3 Cup Water
Directions
Whip cream and almond extract until slightly thick, but still fluid. Set aside.
Mix brown sugar and water in small cup or bowl. Microwave on HIGH, 30 sec. Stir to combine.
Divide brown sugar mixture between 4 mugs. Add 1 oz. whiskey to each mug, then fill mugs with coffee until mug is almost full, leaving about ½ inch to add whipped cream.
Spoon whipped cream over top of coffee. Do not stir.
Recipe Note
Sprinkle whipped cream with nutmeg , if desired.
